PRODUCT CARE

RISIS uses nothing but the best materials, and we go over and beyond to ensure that every item is perfect from manufacturing to packaging. Depending on the material of the item, or the plating, we have a few tips to allow you to care for your RISIS product in the best way possible, so your pieces retain its beauty and character for years to come.

A booklet comes with most RISIS products, and will include more information on how to care for your item, including RISIS' guarantee policy for that particular item. Be sure to keep this booklet safe.

MATERIAL: GOLD

Avoid exposing your gold to household cleaners, which will quickly cause gold to discolour. Use warm, soapy water to clean your gold pieces, dry thoroughly, and then polish off with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh, bristled brushes to scrub your pieces, as you may end up with unsightly scratches to the gold.

MATERIAL: SILVER

Sterling silver naturally oxidises and tarnishes, especially when exposed to salt air and products containing sulfur. To keep your silver pieces from tarnishing, clean your silver pieces regularly, and wear it often. Take care to avoid exposure from household chemicals, hair products, perfume, cosmetics, perspiration, rubber, latex, chlorinated water, and harsh, direct sunlight.

Washing Silver: Wash silver by hand in warm water with a mild detergent. To avoid spotting, dry your silver immediately after washing.

Polishing Silver: Use a soft cloth or sponge to apply a silver polish. Rub each piece gently but firmly, using straight, even strokes. Wash in water with a mild detergent, being sure to remove all the polish. Rinse well in warm water, dry thoroughly, and buff gently with a soft cloth.

Storing Silver: Once clean and polished, silver must be kept dry and properly stored in a box or soft bag when not in use.

MATERIAL: RHODIUM and BRASS

Caring for rhodium and brass is similar to caring for your silver pieces. Keep your rhodium and brass items clean with a mixture of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse it well and dry it immediately and thoroughly to avoid spotting. For brass, be sure to work in the direction of the metal's natural grain as much as possible. You may also clean with a soft, polishing cloth.

 

GUARANTEE POLICY

RISIS products are plated in 24-carat Gold, Rhodium, or other precious metals unique to RISIS. Depending on the product, our guarantee covers any manufacturing defects for 1 to 2 years, from date of purchase, excluding normal wear and tear. Every RISIS product comes with a guarantee booklet with information on how to properly and adequately care for your new item. Kindly retain your RISIS guarantee booklet, product and receipt it should you require any after sales service. Should your RISIS merchandise arrive in an unsatisfactory manner, please contact us and we will deal with the matter swiftly.

 

REPAIRS

You can have your RISIS product repaired and restored your sincere gift after its warranty. Local Customers may bring the product to any RISIS store and you’ll be advised thereon. Overseas customers would be required to ship the product back to Singapore. Shipping and repair fee will be borne fully by customer. For more information, please contact us.
