RISIS Spring/Summer 2024 Launch
In commemoration of 50 years since the creation of RISIS’ inaugural gold-plated orchid, we proudly presented the RISIS Spring/Summer 2024 collection, '1974', at an exclusive launch event held at TMW Gallery on March 8, 2024, synchronising with International Women’s Day. The venue was also completely transformed into a botanical wonderland, decked in lush greenery and fresh floral arrangements, echoing RISIS' connection with nature.
A romantic promise and a remarkable scientific discovery birthed an enduring legacy for the brand. RISIS' Spring/Summer 2024 collection, ‘1974’, transcends four themes of Love, Revolution, Heritage, and Celebration since it introduced its first gold-plated orchid that year. Featuring jewellery in a myriad of orchid variations, distinguished by unique shapes and sizes, which converge with lustrous Freshwater Pearls in one of our most extensive collections to date.
In homage to the scientist's remarkable legacy and fulfilment of a cherished commitment, the collection also includes jewellery pieces that draw inspiration from the first gold-plated RISIS orchid — the Oncidium Engeline Lee, named after his wife. This season marks a milestone as RISIS expands to include revolutionary body chains and hand chains, with the former allowing 4 ways of wearing – necklace, body chain (front and back), and belt while the latter seamlessly combines a ring and bracelet, allowing you to effortlessly express your style in multiple occasions.
We also debut our inaugural hair accessories line — an extra layer of refinement to our repertoire, complementing other classic jewellery pieces ranging from dainty to statement styles including bangles, necklaces, earrings, and brooches.
RISIS CEO, Ms. Verene Ng, commenced the event by elucidating how the brand reached another milestone, while delving into the design inspirations behind the collection.
For this campaign, we have the honour to collaborate with three Key Opinion Leaders representing the trendsetter, enthusiast, and entrepreneur profiles: Aim, Fiona, and Gwen, respectively. They shared their insights on style, along with their favourite picks from the collection.
The atmosphere was further enriched by the performance of acclaimed Violinist Jocelyn Ng, who crafted a bespoke piece for RISIS, mesmerising our audience and enhancing the overall sensory experience.
Fashion-forward trendsetters don pieces from the 1974 collection, from exquisite hand chains to revolutionary body chains worn as a belt.
Guests were welcomed to partake in resin crafting, a hands-on experience that ignited their creativity and left them with cherished keepsakes. Amidst an atmosphere buzzing with excitement, attendees eagerly embarked on the journey of crafting personalised resin coasters using exquisite fresh orchid blooms.
As the event came to a close, guests departed with their beautifully crafted coasters and each received a fresh flower bouquet as a token of our appreciation, carrying the essence of spring with them.
This launch event was a resounding success, marking a revolutionary new chapter in our journey. We proudly presented the RISIS Spring/Summer 2024 collection, '1974', as a tribute to our founder's inspiring love story and pioneering innovation—the first gold-plated orchid, spanning five decades.
