Committed to a sustainable tomorrow

At RISIS, we're redefining our journey toward sustainability with unwavering transparency and relentless determination. While we acknowledge the complexities and imperfections in achieving full sustainability, we are dedicated to continuous improvement and responsible practices. Our commitment goes beyond just words; it’s embedded in every decision we make and every piece we craft.

To build a brand that prioritizes the planet and its people, we are learning to understand the intricate global supply chain of metals and gemstones and are pushing for greater traceability and ethical sourcing.

Our goal is to transform these challenges into opportunities for growth and betterment. We believe that each step we take, no matter how small, contributes to a larger impact on employees, communities, and the environment.

Our journey is ongoing, and we are committed to make a difference, one step at a time.

MANUFACTURING

Our manufacturing processes combine proprietary technology with a commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. We recover and recycle gold from manufacturing waste, while treating all wastewater generated during production to prevent pollutant discharge into public sewage systems. Our jewellery and objects are plated using a cyanide-free gold bath, creating hypoallergenic pieces suitable for sensitive skin.

RISIS Re-Bloom 24K Gold Orchid Earrings Collection

ECO-CONSCIOUS PRODUCTS

At RISIS, we believe in creating lasting beauty through conscious design. We work with suppliers to incorporate sustainable materials, including recyclable wood produced through green manufacturing processes. By repurposing imperfect orchid blooms, we give nature’s overlooked flowers a new lease of life, ensuring each bloom is thoughtfully transformed into a unique, handcrafted piece rather than going to waste. This commitment to finding beauty in imperfection has earned RISIS the Champion of Good award, reflecting our dedication to more sustainable and responsible practices.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint through more sustainable packaging choices. Currently, 80% of our packaging, including boxes and paper bags, is made from FSC-certified materials, with a target of increasing this to 100% by 2028. For e-commerce deliveries, we design packaging made with recycled materials and FSC-certified paper, supporting more responsible resource use across our company.

ORCHID GALA

Rooted in a deep appreciation for nature and Singapore’s orchid heritage, RISIS’ commitment extends beyond craftsmanship to conservation and community. Through organising Asia’s First Orchid Gala, we celebrate our 50-year legacy while championing biodiversity conservation and Singapore’s vision of a “City in Nature”, with National Parks Board (NParks) as our key partner. The Gala also supported conservation efforts and uplifted women and children from underserved communities. Beyond the Gala, our participation in the biennial Singapore Garden Festival supports global floral artistry, connecting communities with nature through world-class horticulture and floral displays.

Jewellery with a heart for people and the planet

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. From our production facilities to what goes into making of our pieces, we engage in long term environmental practices that ensure the well-being of our customers and employees.
