Each RISIS Natural Orchid Jewellery is re-imagined to symbolise the faceted personality and style profiles of women in Singapore and around the world. The Phalaenopsis Cornu Cervi Orchid embodies the spirit of creativity and adventure, the Vanda Limbata Orchid radiates sophistication, the Vanda Miss Joaquim Orchid exalts femininity, while the Ascocenda Sagarik Orchid exudes glamour.
Inspired by the four RISIS Orchid personalities, the RISIS’ Iconic Orchids capsule collection is refashioned into stylish embellishments of nature and culture by Sylvia Lim, founder-designer of Triologie, Goh Ling Ling, founder-designer of her eponymous label Lingwu, Elyn Wong, founder-designer of Stolen and famed local designer, Lai Chan.

Lingwu applies its purposeful and conceptual design capabilities and innovation spirit to re-interpret RISIS Iconic Vanda Limbata Orchid into the new Compass of Life medallion.
Ling draws inspiration from the compass, a device for divination and directional guide; and the Victorian pocket watch, men’s precious jewellery for timekeeping to reinvent the RISIS Iconic Orchid into a purposeful jewellery that symbolises the efficient navigation of life.

RISIS Iconic Vanda Limbata Orchid is revitalised with purpose in Lingwu’s creation of the Compass of Life medallion. The Natural Orchid steeped in 24K gold-plating serves as the “guiding needle” on the medallion to inspire and motivate. It is this alchemy of insightful creativity and modern aesthetics that defines a New Sophistication for women today.

The brand is renowned for its fabric prints which infuses the founder-designer Sylvia Lim’s signature paintings that are inspired by pieces of Singapore’s history and culture, interpreted in a personable and tongue-in-cheek way. It is this spirit for New Adventures that Triologie brings to revitalise RISIS Iconic Phalaenopsis Cornu Cervi Orchid.
The Inspiration
Reminiscent of the Singapore flag, the Phalaenopsis Cornu Cervi Orchid’s five dark red petals and white lip stirred Sylvia to narrate a New Adventure of Singapore through the lens of Peranakan culture by borrowing its bold and vibrant colours, intricate motifs and rich tradition of style.
The designer also created a unique handcrafted five-petal Orchid chain that relates Singapore’s five core values to augment this new collection.

Triologie, known for translating elements of Peranakan culture into Iconic motif on fabric, now proffered this artistry in 3-dimensional metal artwork to make this RISIS Iconic Orchid collection a meaningful work of fashion art. Peranakan style tradition is artfully remodelled in the signature Kerongsang-inspired brooch, long necklace with Aceh belt influence and audacious statement ring.
